Dr. Aaron Bjarnason is a specialist in pediatric dentistry focused on the care of infants, children, and adolescents. He earned his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he developed a strong interest in pediatric care.

He completed his pediatric dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he received advanced training in child development, preventive care, and managing dental anxiety in young patients.

Dr. Aaron is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and high-quality care for every child he treats.

It's great to be a pediatric dentist—truly the best job in the world. I love interacting with kids and parents. It's fun to laugh and joke with them during exams, and it's rewarding to help them work through concerns and fears during treatment. Kids are the best.

My wife and I have five children. We're blessed to call Redding home and to be part of this amazing community.

Dr. Gus Petras is a founding partner of Children’s Dentistry of Redding and a specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He has been serving families in the Redding community since 1976.

With decades of experience treating children, Dr. Gus brings a deep understanding of dental development and a gentle, patient-focused approach to care. His long-standing presence in the community has helped generations of families maintain healthy smiles.

Dr. Gus Petras is more than a dentist—he's a friend to families and the heart of our practice. As our founding partner and a specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, he’s been bringing bright smiles to Redding since 1976.

Originally from Sacramento, Dr. Gus fell in love with Redding and made it his forever home. When he’s not caring for little smiles, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors—whether it's hitting the slopes or playing a round of golf.

Family is everything to Dr. Gus. He and his wife, Jody, recently welcomed their first, second, and third grandchildren—all born within three months! Their hearts are full, and their smiles say it all.
