we make orthodontics fun

For most people a beautiful straight smile is goal of orthodontics. Second is the need for a stable bite to provide a lifetime of oral health.

Phase 1 Orthodontics: 7-8 years of Age

It is recommended your child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Most kids with braces start the process in their early teens but some issues are better addressed at a younger age. The purpose of Phase 1 orthodontics is to improve spacing and alignment in preparation for developing permanent teeth. Some issue are more efficiently addressed during this stage of development. For these kids, the braces are put on the teeth, some issues are addressed, and then the braces are not removed until all the baby fall out.

Phase 2 Orthodontics: 12 Years and On

Most orthodontic cases are started after all the "baby teeth" have fallen out. The goal is a beautiful, functional smile. While no two cases are the same, the average time spent in braces is 24 months.
